Radisson Blu Hotel, Berlin
Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse 3,10178 Berlin, Germany
Our five-star conference hotel is ideally located, a short walk from the TV Tower and Alexanderplatz, and close to public transport and a variety of restaurants. It overlooks the river Spree and is next to the Berlin cathedral (Dom). The hotel boasts a spectacular aquarium in its atrium, which visitors can go up inside to see a multitude of fish species close up. The conference facilities are on the top floor, and provide views of the TV Tower, Berlin rooftops and the cathedral.
We have negotiated special low room rates for Knowledge Nomad participants for the six nights of our conference.
- Standard room, single occupancy €139/night
- Standard room, double occupancy €157/night
- Business class room, single occupancy €179/night
- Business class room, double occupancy €197/night
- Junior Suite, single occupancy €259/night
- Junior Suite, double occupancy €277/night
The above rates include VAT, full buffet breakfast, high-speed wireless internet in rooms and hotel public areas and in-room coffee and tea facilities.
Knowledge Nomads has been able to reserve a fixed number of rooms at the above rates only until 26 June 2017. If our block of rooms is exhausted before that date, or if you book after 26 June, the hotel may be able to still give you the low rates above, but it will depend on availability and will be at the hotel's discretion.
These rates are also available if you wish to stay on a few nights after the conference, but you will need to contact the Radisson Blu Berlin Reservations Department directly on telephone +49 30 238 28 3500 or by email at Reservations.Berlin@RadissonBLU.com rather than using the booking link and specially ask for the special rate for the nights of 29 July onwards. Note that the hotel is now full for the couple of days before the conference (21 and 22 July).
Business class rooms have a guaranteed view out onto the Berlin cathedral directly over the river Spree, as well as in-room Nespresso coffee machine, daily newspaper, bathrobes and slippers. A limited number of junior suites, situated on the corners of the building, are available as well.
Conference participants are asked to make their own hotel reservations directly with the hotel online using this special link in order to benefit from our specially negotiated low room rates. Choose your check-in and check-out dates on the left of the page, and indicate whether the room will be for one or two adults, and the appropriate room choices and rates will then be displayed. The link only works for bookings in the period check-in 23 July to check-out 29 July. If you want to stay for dates outside our conference dates, you should contact the hotel directly.
CHILDREN: If you wish to accommodate young children in your hotel room along with two adults, please contact the hotel individually to make your reservation - our dedicated hotel booking link is only set up to handle standard bookings for single or double occupancy. The hotel has a limited number of rooms in which baby cots and children's beds can be set up. The hotel can provide a baby cot free of charge. Extra beds for children will incur an extra cost. The Radisson Blu Berlin Reservations Department can be reached on telephone +49 30 238 28 3500 or by email at Reservations.Berlin@RadissonBLU.com.
Berlin has a city tax for leisure-related stays, charged at 5% on net room revenue plus 7% VAT, not included in the above room rates. However, the hotel has told us it will not apply the city tax for conference participants because stays will be business-related. The hotel will automatically exempt your bill from city tax if a company address is provided. If you are using your personal address, make sure that on check-in you tell reception that your stay is for business purposes, and check your bill on check-out to make sure that city tax has not been inadvertently applied.
